What a wonderful idea. Try to make one of these awesome sensory boards for your baby or toddler. If you are a kindergarten teacher or a school teacher this can also be a great idea for you.
If you will make a baby sensory board, you can choose soft toys, doorknobs, xylophone, big push buttons, etc., but for older kids, you can put a lot of activities that will help them learn new things, like shoes with laces, zippers, colors and others.
There is tons of ideas out there.
You will need a piece of wood, there is no need for buying a new one, ask in your local wood shop if they have a spare or use broken table, you or your friends maybe already have it at home.
For attaching different things you will use on the piece of wood, you can use screws, Velcro or double sided adhesive mounting squares.
I picked some of the coolest sensory boards, so they can help you with ideas.
